How BlitzSurveys collects, uses, and protects your personal information.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, country of residence, and password (stored as a hashed value). When you request a payout, we collect your PayPal email address or gift card delivery details.
To match you with relevant surveys, we collect optional demographic data including age range, household income range, education level, employment status, and household composition. This data is never shared in individually identifiable form.
Your responses to individual survey questions are collected and transmitted to the commissioning research client in anonymized, aggregate form. Raw individual responses are not shared with any third party in a form that identifies you personally.
We automatically collect standard web server logs including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and time spent. We use this data to improve platform performance and detect fraud.
We collect information about the device you use to access the platform, including device type, screen resolution, and browser capabilities. This is used to optimize your experience and detect account security issues.

Survey responses are shared with the brand or research firm that commissioned each survey. Before sharing, all personally identifiable information is removed. Research clients receive only aggregated, demographic-segmented response data. They cannot identify individual respondents.
We use trusted third-party service providers to operate our platform, including cloud hosting (AWS), payment processing (PayPal, Stripe), email delivery (SendGrid), and analytics (Google Analytics with IP anonymization). These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose beyond providing services to BlitzSurveys.
We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of BlitzSurveys, our members, or the public.
If BlitzSurveys is acquired, merged, or undergoes a significant asset transfer, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email at least 30 days before any such transfer and describe your options at that time.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records related to payouts may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and compliance purposes).
Survey response data is retained in anonymized form indefinitely for aggregate research purposes. Anonymized data cannot be used to re-identify you.

Despite these measures, no internet transmission is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication.
BlitzSurveys is not directed to children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete the information promptly.
BlitzSurveys operates primarily in the United States. If you access our platform from outside the US, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission for transfers from the European Economic Area.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect and post a prominent notice on our platform. The date of the most recent revision is shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
